Lycoming Engines appoints Shannon Gearry Northwestern Regional Sales Manager
Williamsport, PA – June 3, 2008 – Lycoming Engines, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, today announced the addition of Ms. Shannon Gearry to the Lycoming team as Northwest Regional Sales Manager.
Shannon will support Lycoming Aftermarket Sales in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming in the U. S. as well as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan in Canada. She will be the liaison and instructor for Lycoming Distribution Partners, overseeing sales, technical and warranty-related processes. She will also represent Lycoming at industry trade and technical shows.
Shannon will report to Todd Stoner, vice president of Sales and Marketing, “Shannon's education, experience and dedication combined with her contagious enthusiasm for aviation make her an important addition to the Lycoming Sales team. She is a perfect fit and will serve our customers well,” said Stoner.
A certified private pilot since the age of 17, Shannon is a member of the Alaska Airmen's Association, the EAA, the Ninety-Nines International Organization of Women Pilots, and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). She received a B.S. in Aviation Technology from University of Alaska Anchorage and has FBO, air taxi service, engine overhaul shop and parts distributor work experience. Shannon is currently enrolled in the MBA in Aviation program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
